In 2020 Can Melee Damage Lowered?

Melee is one of the most toxic ways to knockdown someone without any skill in a gun fight or people panic melee. 

Melee currently does 30 damage and 30 damage is actually a lot. Nearly as strong as shooting someone which is messed up.

To balance Melee damage, it should honestly be 20 for standard Melee attacks.

Heirlooms should however still remain at 30 damage because those are rare and different. 

I don't complain when someone with a Heirloom melees me. But when someone panic melees me and it knocks me. I am super frustrated and I usually take 30 or 31 damage from it alone.

    @Leo_the_Lion25 Sounds unfair for someone to do more damage because of a cosmetic item they either bought or acquired through very slim odds or spending of money.

    Melee is not "toxic" because in order for you to pull it off, you risk getting up close and personal which can be dangerous if the enemy has any kind of weapon and knowledge of how to move around.

    If you get bested by someone throwing punches only in a GUN fight, than that other player deserves their kill for taking the risk of being shot and coming out on top.

    Doesn’t seem that simple usually. I can shoot someone in the body 3 times and they can punch me 3 times and I go down, not them. I don’t care how hard someone can throw a punch it is not going to cause more damage than getting shot.

    Except in this game.

    @SpyrosFPS XD and in this cod melee takes 2 hits unless you have that weapon perk on. Old school CoD... I got 20+ kills just by melee’ing in TDM xD

    They didn’t call me the 1-hit wonder for nothing.... well nobody called me that. Just made that up. See how good of a 1-hitter I am! XD
