I played a lot of FPS games and Apex's iron sights are clearly not the worse I have seen, quite the contrary to be honnest, I even use some of them without sights on purpose sometimes the R301 for instance.
The problem you had on your video is not that the iron sights are bad but that the muzzle flash of the weapons is way too important, it has nothing to do with the sights.
Thats the problem that only on iron sight that muzzle flash is ridiculous .
Not only iron sights obstruct vision area it also has this muzzle flash that makes you blind for probably more than 80% of frames .
It is way too much as you can see its not even functional on some of the weapons that rely on fast fire rate .
Ofc the fix would be to make those particles same as if you shooting in well lit area and not iron sight change . Like i said making muzzle flash different not only brings unnecessary realism but it also makes iron sight useless .
Its not like iron sight will be better than actual scopes but at least it can be usable as intended .
If they ever make dark map then everyone will see how useless it is .
