- Yes, modifying a device to gain an advantage is cheating. It’s basically the definition of cheating.
- No, because then razer and other mouse manufacturers would be out of business.
EA's Terms of Service (ToS) completely covers every kind of cheating you can think of.
Have a look at Section 6 of the ToS and you'll see that using macros and 3rd party programs to gain an unfair advantage is not allowed.
