Issues with the matchmaking system in Ranked

As indicated by the title, the teammates and opponents matched for my current account in Ranked, although at the same rank, show a massive gap in skill level. Opponents tend to be extremely strong, and there are many cheaters among them, while teammates provide almost no communication and are very inexperienced. This has made my Ranked experience very frustrating.  

I’ve also played with friends in a group, and they unanimously feel that opponents act abnormally or perform far beyond their rank when playing with this account of mine.  

I’ve tried playing on alternate accounts and could easily feel the difference in match intensity.  

I’ve long suspected whether my MMR is too high, but my KD is only 0.96, while my other account at the same rank has a KD of 3.3—a stat maintained for several seasons. Yet, the Ranked games on the 0.96 KD account have much higher intensity.  

Ultimately, my question is: *Is Ranked matchmaking related to an account’s registration time or other factors?* These matchups feel completely unfair to me.

    K/D isn't the only metric that makes up your mmr. That said, I would have thought that any k/d that was hovering near the 1.0 mark is a sign of healthy matchmaking. I would have said that a k/d of 3.3 is not a sign of healthy matchmaking. It sounds as if you've grown accustomed to 3.3, which is fair enough, but which is also probably a sign of faulty matchmaking or of the matchmaker being manipulated in some way. Again, k/d is not the only measure of functioning matchmaking, but it's a good indicator of something. My real question here is, what is that 3.3 k/d indicative of, how many other players are getting the shaft so you can maintain it, and what exactly are you doing to maintain it when you have other accounts that can't approach it? Oh, and also, why two accounts?
