@Luxxtenebri What I’m saying is that it is negotiable. If you read what I wrote before. I said they DIDN’T have to make the legends free but at least make collecting the coins easier. When I play game I get almost none of the coins/tokens (whatever you want to call them). I had to level up 30 times before I had enough coins to unlock A SINGLE character and that took a couple days.

Collecting coins is extremely easy. Spending coins is extremely hard. Re-rolling dailies and spending them on legends are the only usages at present, unless alternate legendary colour skin is in shop.
Sorry dude but you are complaining about playing the game to get things in the game. Not to be rude, but your point is invalid. You said it yourself "It took a couple of days to unlock a single character", which is nothing.
Think about that. You literally spent "a couple of days" unlocking a "single character" where there are only 7 legends that can be "unlocked". Do you see anyone making this argument in league of legends? Or any other "free to play" title for that matter?
The legends are free. They just need you to play the game to get them. Not for months on end to grind them even. You pick a legend, get good with them, look to see who you want to purchase with coins for your next character, maybe watch a video to see if you like, save and then spend. Repeat until no champion are available. Spend excess coins on slow legendary alternate skin rotations.
Then, if you actually like the game, all your future coins will go to future legends (or something else if they ever add more ways to spend). No purchase necessary ever. The ability to spend premium to buy a legend is pure convenience. A "Free" game has to make money somehow, because you didn't "pay" for anything to pick it up in the first place.
