If you were to make a Battle Royale game (for free) and added characters (Legends) you would expect that the characters (Legends) would be free. This game would be apex legends but much better. Please, EA if you see this MAKE THE LEGENDS FREE. You would get so much more players. If you want to make something to pay for (as in an incentive to pay) make a couple more maps (use the old ones) that you unlock as you level up. Or at least make it MUCH easier to get the apex coins that you can use to unlock characters (charms, skins, etc.). Or they could make you able to play with all the legends while your in the firing range.

@Mazerunnerbilll I have never paid for a legend and I have them all. If you don't want to play the game and earn the points to get them for free don't complain if you have to spend real life cash to get them. I'm sorry but that is literally insane.

When you choose a new legend you have two options and when you choose one of those options it asks you if you are sure you want to purchase the legend that way. So that means you are watching a bunch of idiots ignore that statement or just wildly click on options. Its there fault 100% This isn't a college entrance exam. There are two infant level options to be used. You could literally train a mouse to handle this better than you are.

Apex is a free to play game Respawn has to get money somehow, be thankful that they made it an option to get legends for free by leveling up and not having to buy them. Legends are not free due to the free to play game nature u have to get money somehow.

My reason is because when we open Apex Packs or do anything that unlocks items towards Legends. We still unlock items and skins for the legends we don't even have unlocked yet. It should really be free then.
I also seen a few people spend 750 coins by mistake when they miss clicked 12,000 Legend Tokens.
Plus, when a new Legend is added to the game. I personally open about 36 apex packs just to get about 600 crafts materials so I can purchase all the new legends' Common White Skins and Banner Frames. I do this just to remove them from my loot pool (I ignore the tracker and voice lines for now and those come naturally).

@Mazerunnerbilll Holy shi* I forgot that buying legends can be a problem lol, Technically you can still get them without spending money by playing the game, Once you get your level up you won't care anymore about collecting legends tokens as you would have a f*** ton of them

@Luxxtenebri What I’m saying is that it is negotiable. If you read what I wrote before. I said they DIDN’T have to make the legends free but at least make collecting the coins easier. When I play game I get almost none of the coins/tokens (whatever you want to call them). I had to level up 30 times before I had enough coins to unlock A SINGLE character and that took a couple days.

Collecting coins is extremely easy. Spending coins is extremely hard. Re-rolling dailies and spending them on legends are the only usages at present, unless alternate legendary colour skin is in shop.

Sorry dude but you are complaining about playing the game to get things in the game. Not to be rude, but your point is invalid. You said it yourself "It took a couple of days to unlock a single character", which is nothing.

Think about that. You literally spent "a couple of days" unlocking a "single character" where there are only 7 legends that can be "unlocked". Do you see anyone making this argument in league of legends? Or any other "free to play" title for that matter?

The legends are free. They just need you to play the game to get them. Not for months on end to grind them even. You pick a legend, get good with them, look to see who you want to purchase with coins for your next character, maybe watch a video to see if you like, save and then spend. Repeat until no champion are available. Spend excess coins on slow legendary alternate skin rotations.

Then, if you actually like the game, all your future coins will go to future legends (or something else if they ever add more ways to spend). No purchase necessary ever. The ability to spend premium to buy a legend is pure convenience. A "Free" game has to make money somehow, because you didn't "pay" for anything to pick it up in the first place.

@Mazerunnerbilll Tokens can be earned for free (just level up), then you can use them to buy legends.

I spend money on packs and battle pass, but I never used money to open a legend... just tokens.

@Mazerunnerbilll It’s difficult at the beginning, (I think) but ever since the level cap raise it’s easier than ever, plus but the time you get to like level 150 you’ll have plenty of tokens to spare.
