Like I said everyone will have different play styles. In BR pubs hot dropping and wiping the floor with the two teams you contested a drop with and netting 4 kills for yourself and then getting thirded and your team is out in less than two minutes is how some people like to play. They like their stats going up or their KD going up etc. Mixed tape does not offer that.
We can only adjust how we perceive the game and how we play it when playing with others we do not know.
I would love it if all the Rambo types that acetylene torch hot drop and push anything and everything that moves all by themselves and die when they should have rotated with the team, play a LOT more mix tape but we both know that is not going to happen, so we have to deal with it the best we can.
Also the mix tape modes are fully broken so nope not playing them (unless just to warm up 1-2 matches only):
1. Teams are almost never full.
2. too many early quitters that makes point one even less bearable.
3. Control = spawn camping mode.
4. TDM is like going to a party where everyone leaves early and some just dont show at all.
5. The team balance is just null and void, no way should I solo Q-ing into these matches and being feed to the three stack TTV preds and my team is full of noobs.
Ranked BR is more fun than that and pubs BR after that.

I know the frustration, that is why I tend to play BR pubs with my friends either 3 stacked or duos 2 stacked. Otherwise pubs can be brutal on solo Q players.
Ranked I will play solo Q, no problem because "most players" actually try to play as a team and more often than not also play for the win. It is not always perfect though.
I agree with the fact that the Mixed tape game modes need to offer more incentive/rewards for playing and be better balanced and restrict quitters more and maybe it will become more enjoyable for not only the kill happy player base.
Apex is not going to "die" anytime soon. I know people like to say that but its is not going to happen.

Matchmaking not being fixed, more Cheaters than ever (sanctioned and illegal cheats) ... its dead guys ... its dead.
Look at MW2 , they now do smth against XIM and Strikepacks ... havent heard a word from Respawn in that regard,
bcs its skin buying customers that use those devices and cheats and you wont bite the hand that feeds ...
@Asmodeus566if the devs dont fix the matchmaking and get rid of the cheaters then yes, apex will absolutely die. and you can play the game however you want, just dont go back to lobby the second you're boxxed. [edited]
