It does the single most burst damage in the game. It can completely change a fight to 1 shot someone, down to 10 hp even. It's very easy to aim and the bullet is insanely fast. I personally don't use it if I already have any other long range gun, but when I have used it it's surprised me how easy it is to snipe people. There is a thing called teamwork in this game that makes every weapon and ability insanely strong. If your teammates had been there with even a scout you would have secured that kill easy.
When the gun is slow to fire, doesn't have extra ammo and can't get attachments then it's just not worth it.
Certainly not for an entire weapon slot, and it shows because I don't see anyone using it ever. I only bothered to try because it was end game, it happened to be in a care package and we happened to be in a good sniping spot. Attempting to bother using it almost cost us an easy win.
Well i use it, when i get my hands on it. Opening your fight with blowing someone's shield is a nice adventage.
Shorten the reload time.
Increasing bullet velocity would be the most logical change; make it better at what it's supposed to excel at.
It'd also justify its attached scope.
I don't think increasing damage is a good idea, as you'd make body hits on low profile blue armour a 1 shot knock.
Another small change I'd like to see, is for its damage to bleed through Gibby's gun shield.
At the moment the weapon's collateral damage behaviour is logically inconsistent; it'll pass through a 75hp legend & hit a player behind, but it won't pass through a 75hp Gibby gun shield.
