Keyboard and mouse support for Ps4 players in apex legends

Hi, I recently downloaded apex on my pc but only a few days ago I had some unrelated hardware issues that disabled my pc, so I decided to switch to ps4 until I can afford new hardware, and the only games I really have on ps4 is fortnite and apex, and I really don't care about fortnite. There are 2 issues with me playing using the dualshock controller. 1. I haven't used it in a while so I can't compete with other players, pc or console. 2. My controller has some sort of glitch (which I have spent hours trying to solve and found no solution) which makes my character take a sharp left turn when I move forwards wland this makes it impossible to play without my KB and mouse. I would rather not pay $60 for a new controller, which I'm bad with anyways or $200 for a decent adapter. It would even the playing field so much, not just for me, if KB and mouse support was added.
