knockdown shields should turn better
it happened to me countless times where i see my shield pointing at the dude yet i haven't turned yet and he's able to kill me

YUp, happening on me on Xbox a lot recently . Never felt that it happened at the beginning.
Where is the guy shooting you though? If he's right in your face and you're looking straight ahead, they can shoot down on you and kill you. If they're far away depending on height you might have a foot sticking out or something. More info is needed because its not always as simple as 'But I'm facing him'.
