Latest season not fun
I have enjoyed playing apex for many years now and never have I not felt the urge to play it due to its unique movement and core gameplay however this season has drawn a line and I no longer see my self playing anymore.
1.The latest season has so much wrong with it, for one the helmet/Armour change does not pair well with the gun changes, I personally think the gun changes alone would have been sufficient for the goal you are trying to achieve.
2. Ash is incredibly broken in many many ways, I think a character that removes the opponents ability to physically move in a heavily movement based game for a significant time (with the perk) does not make for fun and engaging gameplay in the slightest. Also has no way of counteracting it. ( yes I understand that wraith can phase out of it but not everyone wants to play wraith or has the ability for every second of the gun fight) Then ash has NO in game footstep audio nor does her dash making it an absurd character to verse. Which has the side effect of every single team having an ash due to her being ABSURDLY broken in every aspect.
3. you have the the UI changes in the lobby (which I personally am not a fan of it is confusing and works against all the muscle memory built from navigating it in previous seasons, and the death UI change is the same all I want to see after a match is team summary, death summary and spectate. (likely just a skill issue )
4. I HATE how respawn is copying fortnite in how to kill a game by adding overpowered weapons, items or in apex's situation overpowered charters/classes as it completely destroys the flow of the game making all loyal players that want to improve and that stick with the game frustrated when they die to a bot with aim assist. Eventually the thought process of a new player should be able to kill a higher skilled player to make the game more fun for the new player is a ridiculous way to "make the game more fun" it just ends up with the loyal players leaving and the newer players leave as they never had intention on staying anyway.
5.Which leads me onto the next point matchmaking is cooked and has literally destroyed all australian servers. All australian servers are now completely dead due to lower skilled players constantly versing preds in every single match so they all went to Singapore servers where they verse people at a somewhat simular skill.
6. BROKEN MOON IS **bleep** AND NO ONE LIKES IT. Please put a good map rotation at the START of a season so we have an incentive to play for atleast the first split other wise it ruins motivation for the entire season.
P.S this is ridiculous look at the screenshot I attached. How is this part of the game.
Sorry for the rant however I hate to see such a good game die due to stupid reasons
