Leaver Penalty is going to ruin this game.

This is going to kill the game, watch. One of the best things about Apex is if you are playing with an unfavourable person you do not have to play with them, you can leave the game and instantly join...

best example why it was implemented in a match yesturday:

a guy with 3k kills in my team. we went into a fight with several squads. he got downed. i went over to him to pick him up since it looked like no one was around anymore.

apparently one solo guy was still around ran up behind me and for some reasons i didnt hear the footsteps. i got downed before picking him up. he immediately raged at me over voice, how i could not hear the footsteps, noob and what not and quit immediately.

the 3rd guy on our team picked me up and we got into the last 4 teams when we died in a 2 vs 3 fight.

THIS is why this game needs and has the punishment system, because of over-salty, elitist players.

thats the other view of your so called freedom to not need to put up with other players in a team game...

and btw. you know what you sign up for, when you join a random group of 3 people... get a pre-maid team if you can't put up with that, easy fix.

Ya he's a poor sport just gotta ignore people like that. mute function should be easier during match.
banning quitters = banning deplorables.

    I hate it when you queue with someone who becomes Jumpmaster, jumps into a ridiculously hot zone gets downed and leaves immediately, no chance for revive. His/her fault for landing with several other squads but puts everyone into this situation. This is one of the things that annoys me the most.
    I think the quitters/leavers penalty is a good idea. BUT not for the whole game. What I mean is if you get downed and killed, you shouldn't be allowed to leave before your banner timer runs out. This gives your teammates a chance to get your banner and res you. if your banner timer runs out then by all means you should be allowed to leave without punishment.
    Although leavers penalties seem harsh it does work. It has worked well for CS:GO competitive match which could last up to 90min before you can leave.
