Legend Balancing
Apex Team should avoid making simultaneous adjustments to multiple elements of a Legend or weapon (such as abilities, cooldowns, etc.).
It is better to make small, gradual adjustments and monitor the results step-by-step.
As seen with recent issues involving Ash, Alter, and Ballistic, multiple simultaneous changes only complicate the situation, making it "vague" what exactly caused the balance shift. Consequently, when over-buffs or over-nerfs occur, fixes often fall behind, leading to player disappointment.
By prioritizing this gradual adjustment approach, developers can prevent excessive buffs or nerfs. Furthermore, even if an unintended imbalance occurs, frequent, minor adjustments allow for quicker and more effective corrections.
This approach is even more critical when implementing or switching to new core elements such as "Blink" or "Research Points."
