Legend specific dialogue

There should be a button to turn of dialogue between specific legends, like Bloodhound and Fuse. I'm using them as an example because me and a friend play the quite often and we don't want to hear the quips between them, as it is VERY awkward. This issue is also present when my younger sister plays with us, because the quips can get a little bit questionable at times. I know some people don't mind, so if there is a setting to optionally turn off the dialogue, people who like it and don't like it can play the game. This is just a suggestion and I have nothing against the relationship between Fuse and Bloodhound, I am just using them as an example. Thank you for your time and if you do not agree with me, this is a personal opinion, and this is what I feel should be in the game. Again, nothing is wrong with Fuse and Bloodhound, I just feel like the dilogue is a bit awkward at times. Thank you all again.

NOTE: I am attaching a text file with a transcript of an ea support convo, just in case of anything.

  • @mrfreezio5001I'm one of the players who don't mind the quips at all, but I can understand that hearing "thanks Houndy, I got a thank you - (you know the rest)", is indeed awkward for some players and honestly, the frequency of these dialogue, (like when you're playing as a Lifeline/Bloodhound/Crypto team) can be too much as well.

An average teamwork between Lifeline, Bloodhound, and Crypto can be distracting, because you got Lifeline asking both Bloodhound and Crypto for help against the Syndicate, and Bloodhound is going "uhhh. I'm not sure", and Crypto is basically like "when do I start?" everytime a legend says "thank you", gets revived, etc.

The first few times, get that lore going, its awesome, after that its just like "yes Bloodhound, I know Margret, (Mad Maggie) is bad company."

  • They should have an optional "minimal mode" where all stupid "lore" dialogue is removed and all other dialogue is minimized to the essential. Respawn should realize that some of their players want to play this game as a competitive PVP, not as a "lore-driven, adventure"
