Legends Lore Interactions
I really like the apex legends game, but since the legends is in the title, then maybe they should have more to them than just the story.
I think it would be great if the legends had lore specific interactions, with each other, and with the maps.
For example, Wattson at her research center/ pylon, maybe she can get increased damage? or heals faster? She can also have dialogue like, "how dare you walk in my lab without knocking the door" these can be little fun additions to the game that create a certain relationship between the legends and the apex maps.
Wraith is in the apex games to find the truth to what happened to her, can we have that sort-of story in the game?
Mirage on his ship, mirage-a-trois, or rampart in big Maude. this idea opens up the potential for much more regions and maps to come with each legend.
Also, interactions between each other. For example, Newcastle and Bangalore, or bloodhound and fuse. Maybe they cause reduced damage to each other than anyone else on the map.
Maybe Loba facing revenant can cause more damage on the other hand, as her way of taking revenge.
What if they have a proximity dialogue for instance.
I can imagine bloodhound scanning, then if they scanned a fuse they can say something like "My love, I can see you even if you cannot see me" for example.
I am just giving rough suggestions to the ideas that can capitalize on the lore in gameplay rather than just as background stories to each and every legend.
Another suggestion, although I'm not sure if i should start a thread for that on its own, but i will write here since it can derive from the previous.
As you know, in the battle royale, people can drop hot were they land with enemies, or "cold" where they land in a region on their own. People who land hot and survive tend to have more kills from the start and subsequently more EVO. People who land cold on the other hand, have to roam the map looking for enemies (which usually would become stronger since they have less evo than the enemies). Which is were EVO harvesters come into play, the cold landers can interact with evo harvesters to gain evo to level the playing field slightly, however, the total gameplay is about 15 - 20 minutes at best, and by the first 5 minutes of the game, half the squads would have died.
My suggestion is to have evo missions instead of evo harvesters. People who land cold can resort to doing the mission for evo in order to have a level playing field at the end game with those that gained more shield by landing hot. It would be interesting if these missions derive from the Legends' Lores as well.
Some people might not like this suggestion, and frankly having apex as a standard BR game is good enough, but I feel that this would somewhat add depth to the game beyond what it already is.
