Legend's Tier list, lemme hear your opinion

(This is a "reply" to someone who posted about Bloodhounds passiv being to weak)

If you look closely; every Passiv and "Tactic" skill are pretty useless. As if for now i'd Tier them;

Tier 1: (Bga)Bangalore, (Ll)Lifeline, (Wrt)Wraith

Tier 2: (Gib)Gibraltar, (Bhd)Bloodhound, (Paf)Pathfinder

Tier 3: (Cau)Caustic, (Mir)Mirage

Reasoning:

As for no i think all Legi's are "ok" so far, Abilitys don't seem to powerfull or to weak so i think you got a good balance between a shooter and a "Ability based game". What i mean by that is that you still can choose what u wanna play without affecting ur "game progression" to much. And it should stay this way for all player to be happy. With that being said lets move on to the topic.

Tier 1:  All Tier 1's got on thing in common, utility. Even if Ll got a Tactic ab. that requires to stand her passiv is still very good. If i get killed it's mostly a Wraith, don't know why, she feels hard to hit and incredible fast, i don't like her Ult because i think its not a very active combat Ult but smartly used, that changes too. In Bangalore's case i think her movement speed when she gets hit is to much on her kit, she got a good combat ult that forces the enemy to retreat or cover (used smart) and a "smoke" has very good use in a lot of cases in every BR or shooter, so her movement speed alows her also to be fast out of tough or hot situations and in my opinion there are to much cherry's on this cake.

Tier 2: Now i think alot ask themselfs now "Dude why is Gibraltar Tier 2? wtf". He is slow, his ult is very strong and his overal kit is a good tank kit. I didn't had much trouble with Gibraltars in my Games so far and i don't think he ever will be, just because his TacAbily requires him also to stand in one plays. You don't want someone to know where you are and you also want to reposition as fast as you can if someone does, Gib has trouble with that, it does'nt make him bad, but he is not Tier 1. Bloodhound is a good legend overall, his passiv is kinda weak considering a wide area. The fact that you can get a afterimage through walls with his TacAbily is good, because knowing where the enemy is or where he not is, gives you the 1st shoot. His ult is good for obvious reasons, one thing that could be fixed: you can't see what color an item is in your Ult. Pathfinder has good utility but that's it, you can play very aggressive and get to alot of places with his abilitys people maybe won't know you will come from + his reposition ability. His passiv is useless af, no one cares about the circle at the beginning or the end and it takes years to apply that passive in my opinion.

Tier 3: Mirage.. well, i fall the 1st time for his tricks but if you do it a second time its your own fault, i like the idea but i only fell one time for his ability's. Most likely fall for my buddy that shoots a docey whe nwe drop, gets me everytime.. last is Caustic, good close area abilitys but overall not that great, if you are carefull enouughe or realize early enough taht u r against a caustic his can't do much (my opinion still). He got me once with his Gas because i had not seen him before but that's it.

Tell me if you see something different. I want to hear other peoples opinions on Apex's Legend's so try to stay on the topic.

  • Well first, tactical and passives are definitely not useless, the only one which is not only useless, but a terrible way to kill yourself, is Bloodhound's tactical, which basically gives away your position in exchange for a frame of you enemy that could be used against you if the enemy used it to fool you, as i said in my topic.

    But except for that even gib's tactical is very useful for reviving, protecting from grenades and if your smart enough fool your enemy, throw it as far as you can so you enemy will aim it while you flank him or snipe him out.

    So i disagree with some of you ranking, i think it's only a matter of using a good combination along with good strategies, for example caustic is excellent for early game in closed spaces his tactical allows you to confuse your enemies while you can still see through the smoke and punch him out if you have to.

    Pathfinder otherwise seems better to go for isolated places, farm as much as you can and use zip lines and ultimate accelerators to reach for more populated places.

    Also Mirage as tier 3? he's great at luring ppl, even if it's for your team to flank them or to escape, also try sending you decoy before your team's face check everything, you'll see how many ppl shoot them at sight.
