He's the most imbalanced thing in the game at the moment. Not that this hasn't already been the case for a bit, but I guess I'll start speaking up too
Ultimately the gun shield needs to see a significant nerf. You should've seen my Gibby encounter the other day.....
Last 2 teams, they push us. I have a Gibby rushing down a hallway towards me ( & I'm at the end of this hallway, around the corner. I have Blue shield, he has Purple). . . I charge a PK Choke shot...I PEEK, & hit him for 99, I go RIGHT back into cover, untouched....
I switch to the L-Star. I re-peek. & BARELY, I laser him down through his gun shield.....I nearly lost, was left with 30-40 health. I was a full 175 health. I had a 99 DAMAGE DROP TO START THE FIGHT, & yet, when I re-peek, he actually has 176 health to my 175 LOL. Holy sh*t. Broken. I ended up overheating the L-Star in the process, and his teammate pushed shortly after & downs me as I'm reloading.
I shouldn't have had such low health at the time. I shouldn't have had to overheat the L-Star in a frenzy to finish him. So, Even when a Gibby gets WRECKED, he's still massively benefiting his team. That's imbalanced. Can't even be argued against. Crazy to think that you can out damage someone 275 to 140 in a instance, but still end up screwed yourself.
Another thing about Gibby that needs to be changed is when you Arc Star is Gun Shield.
If you Arc Star his Gun Shield, the arc star will fall off him and do ZERO damage! Lets not forget that all grenades in this game will do nothing to Gibby's Gun Shield at all.
I lost a fight to a Gibby yesterday in Kings Canon. Here what happened:
- I have 150 Health and Gibby has 200 Health.
- I arc star Gibby and managed to stick him. But it was his gun shield.
- The arc star falls off him and explodes doing zero damage.
- I go in after the explosion and shoot at Gibby who should be weaken but isn't.
- Gibby has Gun Shield up and now at 275 Health.
- I do 191 damage + 75 to gun shield and lose!!!!
- Gibby does 153 damage to me and I only have 150 Health plus I'm low Profile.
How is this fair?
It's not. I stuck him!!! But Gun Shield is broken. Grenades do zero damage to him. Gun shield should have been disable/broken before I shot at him. This is a fact. I should have won this gun fight and I did the most damage but the damage report doesn't include the 75 health Gun Shield. In reality I did 266 damage to him and I only had 150 Health to survive. I should have won this 1v1 but didn't because GUN SHIELD IS BROKEN!
Gun Shield needs to be reverted back to 50 HP so it breaks faster. Grenades need to damage the Gun Shield. If you Arc Star his Gun Shield, it should instantly crack his Gun Shield no matter what and not fall off him.
Please Respawn, Nerf Gibby already. He's the strongest Legend in this game with Wraith actually being the second best Legend.
