Lets Talk About 'Skill-Based Matchmaking'?

I had a ton of friends in this game who played at a high level. They all quit playing this game. I used to play this game A LOT but barely touch it these days because of SBMM and really * high tier ranked matchmaking. There is no ELO advantage to killing predators as a diamond and there are a lot of people in Diamond 4 who don't belong there and will cost you RP. In the last 2 days I lost over 1000RP in total because of bot randoms in Diamond who drop hot and can't hold their own in a fight.

So then I go to casual matches to wind down, but instead I get even worse teammates and am still facing pre-made predator squads. I have to sweat my * off in Casual. Most of the streamers that I watch are not having any fun playing this game anymore and only do it because their livelihood depends on it at this point, but they've also lost a ton of viewers in recent days.

Respawn and EA are completely absent and refuse to comment on these changes yet have no issues churning out another cash-grab event. It's sad to see a game that was initially one of the best I've played turn into one of the worst. Bad servers with low tickrates, SBMM, one mode and one map. Yeah, this game has lost me and my friends.

I was in the top 10 wins in Germany last season according to the Apex tracker, have over 1000 hours in this game and had a 3.0+ k/d before this change was implemented.
