Lets Talk About 'Skill-Based Matchmaking'?

I couldnt agree more. I play this game everyday and would love to keep doing so. But I too feel like I'm being punished for performing well. This is by far my favorite game but the way things have been I've been seriously considering never playing again. It's gotten to the point where I'm not even having fun anymore. I dont understand the point of having both ranked and SBMM in public lobby's. I'm currently a diamond ranked and when I play in public lobby's theres literally zero difference in the teams I'm playing against. 

I recently created a new account and within the and actually had fun (for the first 3 games). By the 4th game I was back in lobby's with predators. I'd like to consider myself a decent player but I'm not a pro which is why I can't for the life of me understand why I keep getting paired in lobbies with people who have 50,000+ kills and are predator. And this is just the tip of the iceberg..

I understand the game is based around third partying other teams which is fine. But this is a game that makes it extremely hard to kill a whole squad by yourself let alone the 4 other teams that jump in as soon as they hear bullets being fired (who are all exceptionally good at the game) I really really hate to say it but this game is becoming unbearably unplayable for the people who have actually put in a decent amount of time playing this game. A game should be fun and you shouldn't have to a professional to be able to play it. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way

I want to continue playing this game but the way things are headed im going to end up putting apex down for good if things dont turn around.
