Nah, it’ll be around for a while longer. EA has already invested more money and staff twice, and has promoted it to one of their core games. They wouldn’t have done that if they didn’t project long term sustainability, and basically because they’ve done that, it has long term sustainability.
@DarthVaapar Doesn't matter how much money they invest into it, if people won't play it the game dies. Just look at Anthem. EA threw a ton of money at that game and it died so quickly and now nobody wants to buy it even at a massive discount.
- @HansBurgers True, but Anthem didn’t get 50 million players in a month either. It didn’t have any success whatsoever. Anthem was a fail. Apex isn’t.
- @DarthVaapar The Apex on release wasn't a fail, but in it's current state it is very much so.
- @HansBurgers Nah... It’s doing very well. Season 3 has seen a huge spike in new players. SBMM will ensure many of them stick around for a long while.
