Let's not hijack the post off-topic and dog pile without addressing the substance of the discussion. I.E. Not "The just want to beat up bad players!", "They just want to be fed!". If you want to start a discussion outside of this one for your own concerns, you may.

With regards to how you responded to @dlpaulson12 , @DoYaSeeMe -

Saying "I'd like to get more matches like these." if you don't get them is a disingenuous or ignorant argument when you do not get those matches. Do tell me what the chance of you running into a full predator squad in your games before the full implementation of SBMM. Because I can say pretty assuredly say that I did NOT run into that many. The reality was that even despite higher level players playing more than most, I rarely saw them in my matches over and over again compared to now. It is getting harder to communicate with you if I have to keep reiterating my points to explain why your ideas on the matter aren't of great substance. You also keep creating arguments that people in this thread have not made - "What I understand from your reply is that you would like rookie players like that, to get an effortless, casual win every now and then.". That is such a bad faith argument, I am beginning to think you aren't equipped to discuss this topic despite your interest in it. How about you address the points they DO make? I think you are oblivious to a big original message in my post - That good players are being punished for performing well. The idea that not wanting matches to end as dlpaulson12 just exhibited means anything close to what you just suggested is absurd when he literally told you why he is annoyed.

Paraphrasing, the points dlpaulson12 made that I could glaze were "Most of my matches are not different from ranked play. This is an example of the types of matches I fight in. I have to fight just as hard as if I were in ranked without a reward. I think you do not understand how much harder this is on better players.". He is in no way saying that if you are bad or new that you should be fed to him or better players. He is expressing his experience with the SBMM and you seem to be purposefully misrepresenting what he said. I mentioned this before and I will get into it again. If Respawn believe that they should encourage an easier environment for new players to learn the game, then focus on the new players. My recommendation specifically focuses on the new players and attempts to prevent Respawn from turning an unranked mode into a ranked mode, ruining what a BR is, and punishing players for getting better or being better.

Good thing that you point out (most likely) purposefully misrepresenting post other players had made.

I hope that Respawn/Ea will look this thread and make some adjustments.

I see surprisingly few comments about the 1v3 as solo pred vs full team of preds in unranked.
I mean there is obviously a problem with MM if they even allow such thing, but its not that you are expected to play as 3 ppl if your matched with low ranked players.
The problem is obviously that the low ranked players are expected to be an par with the other high ranked players. Both in casual and ranked I hope and think they do as much as possible to not match full 3 man squads with solo/duo quers.

Its way more unfair to the low ranked players you are matched with then to you. You are at least playing in your tier. I think most ppl agree that something is wrong with the current MM system, but to say that disabling it all together would make a perfect world is nonsense. Where all games would be ruined by 3 man pred squads rampaging, with only one such team in a single matchup, it would destroy the experience for way more ppl then the current system is. Averging out teams based on some kind of skill lvl 1-100 as some have mentioned seems quite good to me, im not sure if thats what they try to do already, evening it out a bit so that the skill difference between players are less for sacrificing fast ques might be a good idea.

Im diamond player myself, and for my ranked and casual is the same kind of games atm too, most games there are pred duos, full pred squads or cheaters ripping the servers apart.
The point is its not enjoyable for a player like me to get matched vs pred players even tho you are "playing" casual.. you will never be so casual that its even remotely fair to anyone below D1/2.

Sure i dont enjoy the games where MM turns me into a carry either. The most fun games are the balanced for me, where ppl are around my skill some lower some better, but hardly any on either side of the spectre.

I try to respond to everyone, I do find it unfortunate that some people take my mentioning that I am a predator as some affront to their person or these 'noobs' they keep going on about. Let alone people who try to intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent my points. I know I love playing with all kinds of cool people though, so I have strength haha.
I have some hope that this post can offer insights. I have an even greater hope that I could be at some point be a relay for developers or such to address and understand how some players feel within the SBMM system as it stands. Maybe they could even try and articulate their point of view on the matter, how they test things, so on? I think it would be a breath of fresh air, but I understand the discretion they have to have on their end. Thanks for your response!

Trying to write quick responses to all these new ones! Excuse the rush.
Someone else posted something similar talking about what I refer to as 'backfilling'. The process in which teammates are generally of a fairly lower skill level compared to your own as a result of slow queue times and lack of people at certain MMR tiers. This doesn't happen, but it's like if you queued for diamond IV but there aren't many on, so you get some platinum fill-ins. The problem is then that the skill disparity between diamond / predator and platinum is large enough that your platinum teammates would definitely struggle unless you carry.
I disagree with the idea that matches would be rampant with predators if, for example, things were to go back to how they were without SBMM. This is also not about how I want to play, it's about how I now have to play. The distinction between 'unranked' and 'ranked' matches is so closed in for me. I will also fight the idea that people like me should be sacrificing the idea of getting a casual unranked experience because I and others aren't average skill level players or of the same ranking, and I will continue to fight that idea because it will definitely kill the game. I say that quite seriously, because the effects of thinking that way do not just apply to me, they apply to everyone. To make it clear, this discussion is not just for me. The more someone plays, the more clear their position will be in regards to matchmaking, and it will be a slow drain on people who perform well enough to the point they would be more likely to invest themselves in the game. Along with, of course, everything else I mentioned in previous posts such as being unable to play with friends.
