Lets Talk About 'Skill-Based Matchmaking'?

As you'll probably see a lot in my posts about matchmaking, I myself am a very serious gamer. It may be because of that that I have not had the negative experiences everyone else is claiming to have had with matchmaking, especially in the past few weeks. As an extremely critical observer of game mechanics, the capacity for skill in this game only goes as high your camera settings. Once you're able to mitigate your recoil by controlling the camera, you're about as good at the game as you're going to get. After that, it's just strafing and luck of the circle. Understanding this, I don't really hit any obstacles in my gameplay, SBMM or not. Also, I played Blackout for years, and that BR is at least infinite times more complex than Apex Legends, so that probably contributes to my strategies here. The key to improvement is in figuring out how you lost. Did your enemy strafe more? Did they hold their aim better? Did they get carried by an overpowered weapon? All things to consider.
