Level 1 hacker in RANKED :)

@TBTFWIts possible that their level didn't properly loaded in (I had a friend join my lobby and it said they were level 1, even though they were actually level 500), as for the rank placement.... doesn't surprise me. The game LOVES putting people against higher ranks. My guess here is that they're most likely a plat or higher player who hasn't played ranked and over the seasons they were deranked low enough, they became bronze. When you play rank for the first time each season, or after a split, the game for whatever reason assumes you are your old rank until after the first match. Meaning, if they were top 500 pred in like season 3, it would make sense that their first rank game in a while would have this kind of matchmaking.

Any way you slice it, its either a bug among the many, or that they are indeed cheating. You could probably just find a website that tracks Apex stats and look up their name. If the account level still says level 1, then its quite possible they cheated their way in.

Go to twitter post these screen shots to Conor he will take action very quickly for anyone recorded cheating or exploiting ranked match making.
