And Bangalore didnt get any boosts while all the others got multiple, still having the * airstrike, smoke now useless due to Seer.
And on the topic of the healdrone, i myself had quite some situation where the drone gave me an advantage in a 1v1, all depending on how you move around while maintaining contact to that drone (strafe aim), if you just stand still youre dead anyway ... might be a controller vs mouse issue ... idk.
Also dont forget to choose the location of your fights, 1v1 out in the open is a bad strategy to begin with ...
Also from your text i can see that its not a lifeline problem , but one you have with your teammates dying in the open field ... even the shield would not help much in that situation.
I myself rather have the option to rez 2 guys at once than having a fricken shield, cover can be easily taken, if you have a certain awareness of the surrounding and not by rushing in blindly !
Lifelines Rez should not make up for bad positioning in the 1st place !
On regards to "bad" shields , you guys know that the replicator boosts shields ? I normally have a Purple in notime, needs 150 currency for the replicator ... also killing prowlers,spiders and especially flyers (60 dmg per flyer !) boost your shield, all depending on where you drop . Some Prowler, some Birds and 1-2 charges at the replicator and you have a red shield.
@r1ggedgameGo check Bangalore then. She literally has a passive speed boost when getting shot at, and not every team you come across with have a seer.
Good for you that you can use the healdrone and hold your own on a 1v1. I always get tanked and no I don't just sit still, but trying to 1v1 with her is reliant way more on your own skill than the other legends. Bang has a speed boot, gibby has shields, bloodhound has scanners. What does Lifeline have? Combat drone. A passive for teammates. Yes she is a support, but why can't she have something to help support herself?
And no it shouldn't make up for bad positioning, but those kind of situations are always a thing and you get left to your own devices with a disadvantage because you can't do anything for them, or die trying to get them, and if you don't get them they rage quit anyway and you're still at a disadvantage, but even more so cause all she has is a healdrone and a care package.
I prefer her rez shield.
It's not just the open field that's an issue with the rez. They literally get taken out in seconds before they have a chance to heal themselves unless you just so happen to be carrying the gold backpack.
Her rez can make a difference in arenas, but that's if the other team gives you a chance to do so, and anyone now days, knows better. You have a Lifeline on your team and you get knocked, you're getting eliminated shortly after.
But trying to pull of rezing two teammates in br? Forget it. I've done it only once but they just kept getting knocked again while I rezed the other teammate and took out the other team. That has been the only time I found the double rez worth it.
If the cover was so easily taken they why did they nerf it?
And no I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that doesn't know about the replicator. Even then it doesn't always work. I've seen people throw shields in there and get the same shield back.
Its all too easy for a Mirage main to talk about how easy it should be for a lifeline to 1v1 because she has a heal drone. Umm, does Mirage know what a 1v1 is? This is a legend whos abilities are the exact opposite of that. I would love to 1v1 a mirage....but that rarely is an option, considering he pulls his Ult and 1v1 turns into a 1v8? 1v7? whichever it is. But yes, Lifelines Ult getting one a match of "high tier defense gear" - blue shield, blue knock down shield and a phoenix kit is far superior to Mirages 1v7 ult which he receives every 45 seconds or so...maybe less?
I agree, Bang could use some love. Her ult is useless considering the power of Gibs ult and how fast it rains down. Bangs ult is laughable to avoid. Just move a couple feet in-between bomb placements and wala....no damage taken. And I agree, with Respawns new forward fast moving reveal meta wallhack future of Apex - bangs smoke is rendered useless.
What happened to, I believe John L said - "in general, it showed the devs how scans killed "rat" plays, and make "game sense" obsolete." / "While we can't solve the pain points of the reveal meta in a hotfix, I'm looking forward to jamming out linger-term solutions with the rest of the design team."
Now those comments were made after Seer. Yet even Maggie got some kind of real-time wallhack as well. And now I hear Seer may be getting a buff!? I took those comments as more of a "yeah, wallhacks are ruining the the way the BR should be played" - kinda thing.... "lets fix it." But still the real-time wallhacks continue. Useless comments to make if you have no intention to follow through.
Just come out and admit it Devs - the future of Apex will be exactly that, real-time wallhacks, until every legend has some ability to see every body in real time. I guess game sense is not as important to respawn devs as I thought based on JL's words above.

Was wanting to show the difference of how lifeline in a 1v1 is very different from others who have abilities to aid them...such as Mirage's Ult, Rev's tac, Seer's....well.

The abilities, she has since day one ... not being touched by anyone ...
cmon, a defensive airstrike for an attack player char ... gimme a break.
i also have 1K on life, i guess it would be not that much if the char wasnt playable for me.
