Microsoft just launched Azure data centres in Johannesburg and Cape Town, Surely now we can have local servers? Does anyone know how long it will take to get Apex servers?
As far as I know Apex Legends uses AWS and Azure.
Yeah I'm sure every game dev company abroad would appreciate that: African players happy and playing at 200 ping against 5 ping privileged players.
- Still no feedback from EA/Respawn?
sadly not... ;/
- EA Games appreciates your feedback and is always looking to improve the gameplay. We will notify our players if we make any changes.
If having fewer players bother you that much you could just select another server with more players.
- Well, that's a definitive, corporate "we will see" response.
We desperately need South Frican servers this game is pointless close at close range, the practice mode feels nothing like online EU servers its just getting to a point where im going to play CS:go and DOTA 2 only, RSA servers.
Yeah and lately even selecting "London" doesn't help. We get paired with Russians and the ping is even worse. But at least they really care about community feedback on the forums and are actively replying to keep us in the loop and not keeping us in the dark which is so professional of them... Oh wait.
why don't we have African servers
we need African servers too there are a lot of players around the region too
