Ever noticed you more than often get not just one but two P2020 right after drop?
Maybe a mosambique or two?
Ever tried to drop the P2020 then to walk to the next bin to find another, drop that and you'll keep "spawning" them as you go.
The game is rigged to have you pick up bad weapons first then find better ones. This isn't BR, its rigged BR.
This by itself would not be that bad but the team that lands with You on the other side of POI has every possible weapon at their disposal while You end up only with p2020 and moz...
The "Loba passive" is a poor excuse. Her passive might reveal level 3 sniper scopes or extended light magazines but it never shows you weapons specifically. The weapons could certainly be set to randomize even if the accessories are not. Her passive is not what you want it to be in this context.
There is no guarantee that Loba doesn't set certain loot drops as reserved for specific items. To prove one or the other would require considerable testing. Point is, none of us know how the loot works.
Loot is generated at the start of the match. It does not change! The bad weapons are more common because of LUCK. That's right! LUCK! It gives bad players a chance to beat good players. Luck is what keeps bad players coming back. Game developers know this. They want you to every once and a while get a peacekeeper off jump and be fighting guys with P2020's. Most people are just hoping to get lucky. They don't bother to understand the following at a deeper level.
With that said. FINDING LOOT/WEAPON IS A SKILL! Good players know how to find good loot!
For example: Icarus on Olympus there are weapon racks there. Always a few good weapons. Saved me a ton of times from bad luck.
There are even spots with guaranteed PURPLE/LEGENDARY 100% of the time.
Bad players just don't pay attention or bother to actually learn the maps inside and out. I can find anything I want.
Dropping contested or hot, leaves everything to chance. Can't complain if you're doing that. If they were to remove all the trash weapons. Bad/clueless players would never log in again because they would get destroyed.
SIMPLE. LOGIC is EZ.
As others have suggested: stop the hot dropping. I know it makes people feel all manly during that one-in-thirty drop where you get a good gun and enough ammo to wipe two squads immediately. But is that really such a big deal? I'm sure this is just me, but when I'm forced to hot drop and manage to get a kill or two out of it... it doesn't make me feel good. It's just luck, and I have a lot more fun in this game when I'm minimizing the role that luck plays rather than depending on it. Because mostly when you depend on luck for a good outcome you're gonna be disappointed.
I think I fall in the middle of this argument.
The loot is definitely already spawned at the beginning of the match. However, I think the OP's point is that - why do you always find a mozam next to a P2020? - there is definitely some sort of "loot patterning" going on.
Also, to some other people's points, you can find better loot on drop if you don't hot drop and you know where to look because of your experience. For example, on Olympus, a high level armor and a gold item ALWAYS drop in the middle of Elysium.
On the other hand, I think there are way more mozams and P2020s in the game than you think, that's why you seem to come across them way more often. higher percent chance of finding those weapons than others. Remember when rampage was first released? Found that MF everywhere. Couldn't find a flatline to save my life.
My opinion is to get rid of the P2020. Nobody likes it. It's objectively the worst gun in the game (some YTbers out there have videos confirming this), and hammerpoints only make it marginally better, but don't usually spawn near the gun. Get rid of the P2020. That's the hill I will die on.
Recently all the spots where people often drop are fully dried up. Only ammo, hop-ups and grenades.
