I have a better idea:
When u hold the R pad the Gernades shows up. Press The tactical button on it and you get a KCnade. They wan Fuse fireworks right? That's how its done. Maybe the Knuckle Cluster can have a little blur effect.
Blue: KC ArcStar
Orange: KC thermite
Brown: KC Frag
Clear: KC
Then u can have an option to attach his grenade Barrel to his gun.
It...would really require a lot of work to implement. Are you suggesting a complete rework on grenade for him and him alone? I don't think Respawn will have the gut to do so, given the fact he isn't a female character nor has anything flashy in his playstyle so his popular and money-making potential is very low.

Money Making: they have so many people who spent over a hundred on Apex. Their loaded with money.
It's not a complete Rework: Its a feature to add, because people says his passive and his tactical still sucks. (He can merge his KC and Grenade together, was u not reading?)
Respawn: Are a offspring of Crystal Dynamics, who can still change thier ways

Am I seeing your suggestion is to make his grenade when being throw away act similar with how KC work? If that is true, I think buffing him this far would make him super ultra broken and way to overpowered. Respawn already acknowledged how difficult it is to stuck people with the arc star. To the average Joe like me, it would only happen once a hundred games so they made Fuse's KC super magnet to hitbox so people can stick it more often and easier. If Fuse can just fire Arc star with magnet like KC, can stick a whole frag grenade into someone's face and thermite their entire body like a true war criminal, he would become the most toxic playable character ever to be happen in videogame with multiplayer.
