Rework this broken gun. Imagine being a horizon up on his q and still being beamed by a mastiff for 70 damage 10 meters away while up in my ability. Seems balanced yea??

Mastiff still needs to be nerfed. I silenced this Wraith before she got on a building's zipline, and somehow she glitched past me and didn't exist at the same time. I'm guessing lag, but that's not really the problem, the problem is she shot me 3 times, and like none of these are headshots... but 106 to the body??? Uh... what?Tested damage in the firing range and only got this result:While the Peacekeeper does 6 more damage to the target when all bullets land, is that really the difference between standard and heirloom tier weapons? Also, why am I unable to get 106 damage done to the body, like in the death cap picture? Before anyone goes "you had low profile", I was playing as Revenant at the time, and Revenant doesn't have a low profile problem.I decided not to stop there, what does the max headshot damage do?Hmm... 143 Peacekeeper - 128 Mastiff = 15 damage difference. Be a little annoying to kill Caustics and Gibraltars, somewhat fine for normal legends, while low profile legends such as Wraith, would be taking about 145 // 130 damage respectfully. This renders the Peacekeeper practically useless. How so? Well, if you do 6-15 less damage per shot (assuming all bullets land and hits the target), why would you ever want to pick up a limited ammo gun?110-143 Peacekeeper: Can two shot purple and below players. If a player gets two headshots in a row, they do 286, which will knock red evo players, this should also knock fortified characters in two shots as well.106-128 Mastiff: Can two shot purple and below players. If a player gets two headshots in a row, they do 256, which will also knock red evo players, and most likely will knock fortified players. (I would have to test it on fortified players, but don't think I need to)Results: Both guns, while different in damage, can easily two shot pretty much anyone, (one shot no armor players), the only difference is one can choke the spread, but also have limited ammo. So why limit yourself, when the Mastiff is basically a ground care package weapon? Not to mention that these damages are AFTER the Peacekeeper got buffed a few seasons back, when it was care packaged. So, in reality, they would do virtually the same amount of damage.

18 matches today..... Not one single person ive come across is not using the effin mastiff. When will you get this garbage off the ground and back into a crate? EVERY TEAM. The game is losing its skill when you give it a point and shoot 1 shot wonder off the rip of a drop. The balancing skills at hand are just horrible tell the devs load into the game lets see how they love their own content.

@E9ine_ACHorizon is a she, and her lift (I'm pretty sure) is more than 10 meters high, but yeah. IMO The mastiff should still be a care package weapon. Peacekeeper is strong and was the meta, but an easy fix would be lowering damage or removing the choke. Instead they put a more wide-spread gun as floor loot.

@E9ine_AC This gun needs to be removed or heavily nerfed. I'm getting sick and tired of being instantly killed with it because its the gun people only ever use.You can empty a mag into someone and it won't mean anything because, guess what? You got mastiffed for 100+ in the head.

Mastiff requires no player skill every player has it for secondary weapon. If you are in 20 meters from an enemy who has a mastiff you have no chance. Needs to be nerfed . Otherwise why there are lots of weapons in this game if nobody uses them ? The most beautiful game i've ever played but this meta and SBMM is killing the game. Shame...

I can't believe they didn't nerf for season 8 after all the backlash and players at all levels commenting about it. Also their belowed game statistics must show the same thing so why are they not doing anything about it? Now we have to wait at least 6 weeks for the midseason patch and hope they get to their senses by then...

Game right now is literally like playing Snipers & Shotguns LTM but they changed the first part to include AR and SMG 😞

I was downed early game by a Mastiff in one shot, 104 damage. Granted, it was close range, but there was nothing I could do. It truly hits like a train. When I started playing, I remember I was always looking for a Mastiff, because it seemed strong to me. Now I just take whatever I find, yes even a Mozambique.

@Midnight9746 agreed and at least pk full dmg shot is a bit harder to hit so it could lower the frustration in playerbase

@Midnight9746 Everything is more balanced than the f-in mastiff, EA just shttin on us... "they like exciting gunfights". That's how much they care about us.. Zero fcks given!...

@Vl-ceraThat's exactly the point. The Mastiff hits a little less than the Peacekeeper, and is much easier to hit. Their for, why would you ever pick up a limited ammo gun?

@Midnight9746 From my understandign of the game gold/red weapons should be the best/easiest/most rewarding to use (since they have the best attachments) and as such mastiff should be in the crate. Anyway my point is that if the weapon is so powerfull and easy to use not everyone in the lobby should be able to get it in their game since it makes a game centered around it and it makes other weapons less viable. Why would you use any other weapon when you know you can easly 2 pump anyone with mastiff?

You have to get all your shots on target, put near enough a full mag into someone for them to turn round and just 2 shot down you with a mastiff when you have a purple shield
