Matchmaking - Plat is food for predators nowadays

Dear Respawn Devs, 

Since the Season 4 launched I am enjoying this game less and less over time. I am plat 4 casual player staying with you faithfully since the Apex release, but I am playing your game less and less. 
Season 1 and 2 were very fun for me as I learned the game, invited friends with me to play and we had issues that we needed to create separate discord voice channels as there were 7+ people playing at a time. We've had KDR below 1 but we felt the progress. Season 3 was great. We've all broken our kill records then and won sometimes 3-4 games a day. We felt the game was balanced, fun to play, often challenging. We all played approx 2-4h a day. It was great. 

As Season 4 started we struggle to get above 3 kills in one game. We feel like total noobs and don't enjoy the game anymore. Our discord channel is rarely used as it's not enjoyable to be killed by predators or diamonds every single game. We are put against people who play 6-8 hours a day, has 2-3 times more kills on one character than we on all of them. 

Don't get me wrong - I don't think we should play against newbies. Just don't let into our match higher diamonds or predators. We really don't mind waiting 60 more seconds to matchmake with similarly skilled opponents. Being food to hardcore players is not fun at all.
