Ok, hear me out. I have been playing Apex for a bit and when I saw the pathfinder Nerf I thought that it was a bit harsh.
BUT, is he really unplayable? He still has zip-line, the ability to scan survey beacons (an underrated ability if you ask me), a slim hit box, and his grapple still works like it used too. I hear so many people complaining that Pathfinder is now bottom tier. I think maybe a 30 or 25 second cool down would be in order but he still has great mobility. It is just now he has to be more careful with his grapples.
I just think people should play with the Nerf for a bit longer before demanding that the Nerf be reverted.
Yeah, it's that bad. He was SUPPOSED to be the mobile legend - his description is literally "Forward Scout."
Now if he grapples ahead of the squad to SCOUT, he's toast as the cooldown is too long. 35 seconds it's a duration that needs to be saved for escapes.
ETA: Also he does have one of the larger hitboxes, they gave him low profile to make up for his mobility which they took away.
Yeah i agree. Forward scout. I guess he is a forward scout who can no longer make it back to his team. Glad to hear many people are quitting the game over this and it was not just me. I do not main pathfinder but when i do play him i like to be able to feel like spider man. The 35 second cool down makes him virtually un playable. Compared to other legends he just dont got what it takes. Hopefully season 5 runs terrible for their company so they can look back on their decisions. This is what happens when you punish the happy robot
- @Gator762FMJ Agree, he’s unplayable. With low profile and now the nurf he’s not worth playing. As a pathfinder main I found it so hard with the low profile as it was but now I barely get one kill maaayybe two per game. Loba can now travel further and faster then pathfinder and she doesn’t have low profile So what’s the point.
@mrethanjd I highly doubt low profile is making any meaningful difference but you do so fair enough. Saying that Loba can travel further or faster than Pathfinder is an outright lie though.
- @heme725 Loba can throw her bracelet pretty far and her cool down is less the pathfinders and a pathfinder can only grapple far distances if there is a high enough wall to shoot for (very circumstantial) where’s Loba can “Loba” that bracelet the same distance every time with less cool down.
@mrethanjd Just came from the Firing range and it seems Loba actually can travel faster than Pathfinder if its only a short distance. In order to gain more distance most players seem to toss it high which takes a long time for her to actually go anywhere so I assumed her tactical was slow. Its decently fast for short distance travel although I can't imagine her pulling off some of the insane leaps I've seen on Pathfinder videos.
I'll still wait to judge the changes until a bit of time passes but apologies for calling you a liar. My mistake.
