Melee damage is broken
I just played a game where someone did 120 melee damage to me with one hit. Like wth is that? This game needs a major overhaul

@WickedCuruptThat definitely would be a massive bug. Did you see that number in the death report for one hit? Sometimes a lag issue makes several hits feel like one, not with melee of course, but it does sound crazy, as in what it was and what it looked like were probably two different things.
- @WickedCurupt 1 punch 120 damage is imposible. Each melee attack (kick/punch) does 30 damage.
You can always check the hit summery after you got killed to see how much damage you took from the one who killed you.
It could be a server lag, where you saw the first hit and then saw your death without seeing other punches. Or it could be enemy's teammates hit you from other sides and you only focus and see him do the last hit with punch. - @WickedCurupt I can believe it happened, considering the fact I can put 3 mags into a someone and sometimes they would still be at 100% shields/hp, but how many hits did they do? Like I mean, on the hit summary, did it say "120 in x hits" or have the little circles below the number to show the hits?

- @Alphabets There’s was only the one who killed me and another teammate but I had already downed the teammate.
- @WickedCurupt Alright, first off, make sure you remove the names from the screenshot, otherwise an EA staff would remove it. Only because it's considered "calling them out", second I see 4 dots below 120. Those are the hits. 4 x 30dmg is indeed 120.
If you're saying they only hit you once and did more damage, then it's most likely an abused glitch where they were able to punch faster, or the server decided it wanted to lag. @WickedCuruptThe photo you shared is not 1 melee 120 damage... let me explain with an example:
when someone hit you with RE45 it wouldn’t show like :

in the summery but it actually show you the sum of that (like saying 48 damage - RE45) until they reload, change their weapon or someone else start to hit you...
That 120 melee damage in that photo should be the sum of 4 melee hits from that playeredit: you can even see this on your Spitfire shot records, as long as you shoot and register damage, the sum goes up to 51, but when you single shot or reload, the recorded damage showed different numbers
- @WickedCurupt You actually have a hit counter on each damage done. So for your fist you have 4 stars on the banner of the damage. This indicates you have been hit 4 times by the fist.
