Melee damage is broken

I just played a game where someone did 120 melee damage to me with one hit. Like wth is that? This game needs a major overhaul

@WickedCurupt 1 punch 120 damage is imposible. Each melee attack (kick/punch) does 30 damage.

You can always check the hit summery after you got killed to see how much damage you took from the one who killed you.

It could be a server lag, where you saw the first hit and then saw your death without seeing other punches. Or it could be enemy's teammates hit you from other sides and you only focus and see him do the last hit with punch.

    @WickedCuruptThe photo you shared is not 1 melee 120 damage... let me explain with an example:
    when someone hit you with RE45 it wouldn’t show like :
    12
    12
    12
    12
    in the summery but it actually show you the sum of that (like saying 48 damage - RE45) until they reload, change their weapon or someone else start to hit you...
    That 120 melee damage in that photo should be the sum of 4 melee hits from that player

    edit: you can even see this on your Spitfire shot records, as long as you shoot and register damage, the sum goes up to 51, but when you single shot or reload, the recorded damage showed different numbers

        Hey @rytnico,

        I'm locking this thread to prevent necro-posting as it's fairly old.

        It's hard to tell from this clip, but it sounds like a gunshot from someone else (possibly whoever was fighting your Pathfinder teammate) hit you around the same time, since you were already down to half health.
