It is ridiculous that 4 melees do the equivalent damage of 10 pistol rounds. This is crazy in the beginning of a round when you pick up a pistol and blast someone 6 times in the chest but they kill you anyways with some melees.
Just stupid in my opinion, nerf melees.
Let me get this straight, you think 4 melee shots is more powerful than 10 pistol shots and you want a melee nerf?
What a weird way of looking at it.
You should be asking for a buff to gun damage, because even in the future, to be shot by 10 rounds before you fall is super stupid. I would have gone with that.
The game has too many movement options for melee to be significant. My assumption is, and don't take this as cynicism or anything like that, is that you enter panic mode when someone is meleeing you and is too close for comfort, so you play worse than if it was a "normal" engagement. If you and the melee guy are fighting each other and you have similar skill and you aren't panicking and losing him from your crosshair or camera and are aware of nearby walls etc, you should win with every weapon against him.
