mate, heirlooms are essentially collectibles, and while it makes sense for weapons to do more than fists, from a meta standpoint, it would make melee pay2win, which isn't anywhere near fair. and unless you're using octane or valk or someone like that, yuo're at a clear disadvantage when using melee
