Melee to damage HP not Shields

Thoughts on melee to take away from HP instead of shields? only thing thats annoying is landing and dying when you find gold armour to a path knocking you out... but end game pretty impossible to get a melee kill advantage of running to punch?

    @ConFooFighting That would make no sense, if you're punching someone and they're covered in cardboard you're going to hit the cardboard first. Makes sense for Caustic gas but letting melee bypass shields would be bad, think of how many times you were in a gunfight with low hp but full shields, imagine if you were so close to winning but someone threw a random punch that bypassed your gold armour to send you back to the lobby

    How about melee weapons eh eh?

    Give big Gib a warhammer and watch the chaos ensue. XD
