Mindless chuds queueing but going afk

I am actually baffled how people queue into ranked games and then don’t play them and sit afk the whole time as if they didn’t mean to queue and I  would love to know if this is happening to anyone else or if anyone else is struggling to understand why people are in the same rank but 100000x worse and unable to play as if they’ve never touched the game in their life but somehow their rank suggests they are better then me.. please explain this to me because I’m done with this game. Epic games fix it please.

    It's yet another example of why you need a friend list in this game. If you take a rank grind seriously, and are not gifted or a cheater, then you need to queue with two reliable people of roughly your same skill level, level of commitment, and play style. And if that's not an option for you (it certainly isn't for me, I can tell you) then you have to accept that your grind will be held back from time to time by the kind of players you described... and also by a lot of other factors. That's just the reality of ranked play in any competitive game.

    Nobody solo queues to ALGS.
