Mirage Psyche Out Idea

Now don't get me wrong, Mirage's tactical (psyche out) is very useful and does come in handy, but I think if we "bamboozle" an enemy (our decoy gets shot), it will ping that enemy for a quick second. A lot of my teammates say that Mirage (I main) is more of a solo type character, which I do agree in a way regarding my passive and ultimate.

I think a little ping of an enemy of whoever shoots the decoy would get ping or even highlighted orange but for a short time like Bloodhounds ability.

Overall, as I said, psyche out is very good as is, but I think he would be more of a "team player" if he spotted the enemy whoever the decoy fools. If this would be a thing, maybe make this psyche out longer, roughly 18-20 seconds.

  • His Q (tactical) ability in which you deploy a decoy already reveals the location for your teammates. The psyche out (passive) is more of an escape once you are downed. In my opinion, it is one of the weakest passives in the game, as it really doesn't add anything to the game while you are still alive. I do agree your idea for making it ping enemies for your teammates makes it a bit better, but I think it still might be to weak compared to others.

    Also his ultimate is rather useless. Whenever an enemy uses that ability, I am not thinking: why are there so many decoys here? I am thinking: hey someone used the ultimate and is running around semi-cloaked and cannot shoot nor cancel the ability! Let's hunt him down! Maybe the whole cloaking shouldn't be a thing for mirage, instead make the ultimate in a way that the multiple decays start to run around and create lots of confusing for the enemy.
