Missing Apex Coins after Season 7 Update

Lost 450 apex coins after updating the game for season 7. Spent the past week contacting EA live support and nothing got resolved and basically got bounced back and forth by agent to agent, despite the game losing my coins and being told that it's my problem and not something with a solution. Based on their transactions (which they can only check up to 30 days), and confirming that I did not make any further transactions of spending my apex coins, my current apex coin balance does not add up to their provided information and cannot be explained. What really blew my mind was when an agent told me "But this is the truth." and tried to end the conversation.

Saw on forums that some people got their coins back after restarting their games but it didn't work for me and some people. 

Don't know what to do because live support has not been helpful and kept wasting my time by switching agents and kept making me confirm my identity via e-mail.
