mobile verification

is mobile verification ever going to be required to play ranked, im somewhat new to the game and constantly finding lvl 500s and people with diamond badges in silver/bronze lobbies

@6CurtisMKS6They were talking about making Ranked Pay2Play because Mobile Verifications can be easily bypassed by getting a fake temporary number online

If you already own the battlepass (or previously owned one) you would be able to play Ranked for free, I think they could also make Ranked have a level 50-100 level requirement (personally I would do 100) to be able to play it for 100% free and then only pay2play for early access

@6CurtisMKS6 These two points are kind of unrelated. I'm level 400 something and if I stop playing ranked for a split or a whole season I'll be back down in silver or bronze by the time I return to the game. Even if there is 2FA or another kind of mobile authentication, there will be people who play ranked less often and end up back in the lower ranks. I hate the "get good" argument, but the better you get at the game the easier you'll be in gold even in solo queue.

its not just the high levels its getting beamed by a level 14 who's wall jumping, spasming on a zipline and getting 10+ kill games
