It’s the same on Xbox as PS4 with KBM users cheating their way to the top of ranked.
I see YouTube videos of people who tell people how to use these mods and also loads of Apex YouTubers who are clearly using Mouse and Keyboard on a console match (the buttons on the grenades, abilities and health items at the bottom of the hud give it away)
Seen BacKoFFmyJanKz and Zeus clearly using KBM on PS4; iTemp Plays, Chicken9man and SoaR Kobi are all using it as well.
It’s so rife on EU servers, it’s actually quite enjoyable playing low level Bronze and Silver ranked matches as most of the KBM users have cheated their way to the top tiers leaving mostly controller players to fight it out competitively.
I use the report feature on Xbox but nothing gets done so when will Respawn do something about this.
I think adding crossplay so that PC and Console players using KBM are put together and the PC and Console players using controller have their own lobbies. I like the way CoD: Modern Warfare shows you what system each player is using and their control method in the lobby so if you see KBM you can just leave if you want.
I don’t think it will stop those that use these mods like XiM because it’s the only way they can win or those toxic gamers that just want to ruin everyones enjoyment but it may curb it and stop new adopters for these adapters.
