@Trentanian That's a weird way to solve the aim assist issue. The reason I play with mouse is because I want everything that happens to be my own input, not assisted. They just need to severely reduce aim assist in mixed input lobbies, something like 0.2 should be fine. They can have 0.6 aim assist in console only lobbies, I could care less about that.
The current issue with aim assist in PC lobbies is that I don't know whether I'm facing a KBM player, or a Controller player on PC with 0.4 aim assist OR a console player with 0.6 aim assist until I get one clipped up close or see their banner/see them looting standing still. Respawn says they want to have the game be transparent, but this has to be the least transparent game affecting issue that's plaguing the game right now.

@HansBurgers so my understanding of how it works on halo is there is a slight slowdown while on target and then the actual aim assist only kicks in when your mouse isnt moving but you are moving (wasd). i think they added it in halo specifically to counter the quick strafing which is usually an issue at closer ranges. so it just helps your aim get moving in the right direction faster.
