Wildcard NOT actually permanent…
Ok so why is this mode advertised as permanent, but then I see the patch notes, and it’s listed as a limited time mode?
It has hard end dates so they completely lied in the marketing. I’m so happy about everything else but this was my favorite thing by FAR in the patch notes…. Sadge…

This just shows the times when certain modifiers will be active across various permanent modes, including Wildcard.
That's not to indicate Wildcard itself is a LTM any more than Trios/Duos, just that it'll be included in those particular mode variations.
Definitely looking forward to it being a new permanent mode to play around in myself, this is just embodying the last portion of the Wildcard blog 🙂-

Wildcard was designed to not only be a playground for you, but also for us. Like other aspects of the game, Wildcard has a designated team to ensure that it is updated and may try some new features on for size. Look for future experimentations, seasonal updates, and surprise takeovers to keep the experience fresh and truly embody its namesake.
