Mouse and keyboard on consol? WHY!!!!!!

In a consol game, you use a CONSOL. not mouse and keyboard, so you can gain major advantage in gun fights... why is this an option?
mouse+keyboard= pc lobby...

Or you can make a "idiot lobby" for mouse and keyboard, so we wont have to waste our time.... RIP Apex. you have so mutch to learn... GG

    3rd party software has become a problem on console...

    But how would you fix it??

    Maybe some kind of acceleration and wrist-flick checker?

    There are certian...lets say limitations that the controller has that can or could be used to check if someone is using a K&M setup.

    But don't ban them.

    Like FattigDK said they should get a server or have a chance to play vs PC as crazy as it may sound.

    They could simply put the keys only to work when using a controller. key's as, wsad would not work, as not being implemented in consol game version?

    Gamepads designed for consoles circumvent any input restrictions by mimicking controller inputs just with a different physical button layout. You can only tell the difference through actually observing them in action, and even then because of the range of motion and sensitivity with controllers it can be very hard to tell. And I 100% believe someone should be banned for using k/m in games where k/m is not supported specifically because of the advantage it can provide. It is akin to cheating, and should be treated as such.
