My opinion on each legends so far

Hello there. We've seen a lot of topics popping up with ideas on how to balance legends, so I'll try to stay mostly soft about it, but I think a lot of legends needs at least a quality of life change, meaning usually much quicker animations on their abilities for such a fast paced game.

Wraith

tactical: needs quicker animation, and making that she at least always run when she's into the void, because it feels like she's slowly walking away most of the time.

ultimate: a lot of ideas had been brought already. Closing portal, putting her into the void while under ultimate, being able to put a portal from a distance, or even putting it directly in front of an ally.

passive: looks fine. I like it now that I actually hear the warnings <3

Bangalore

ultimate: probably quicker explosions?

passive and tactical feels super duper good. I can understand why she's so popular.

Pathfinder

ultimate: More points of attachment for the zipline, why can't I stick it on every surface? Why not on mountains? And why can I put it at max range on top of a tree, but not on the ground beside it? Maybe increase a bit max range?

passive: feels useless most of the time, even if fun, as the game usually ends by circle 3.

tactical: after the video which opened my eyes, it feels amazing!

Gibraltar

Not much to say...everything seems good about him, but he's not played very much, probably because he feels slower than other legends, and has bigger hitbox. And I don't like his japanese summo style...but that's just my opinion. Maybe buff a little his passive shield to compensate for hitbox? (people will complain a lot about it though :x)

Lifeline

tactical: better range on the robot would be nice. Also does it really has to take some time to connect people with the wire to start healing?

passive: best passive in the game! super awesome!

ultimate: listen up, she's calling a lifecare package in!

Bloodhound

tactical: just remove completely animation. Why the hell a guy woman who believe in an allfather god has to push a button on his wrist while asking the god to bless him with sight? Is it to compose his phone number or what? Feels heavy and unnecessary. Also probably more range on it would be well accepted.

I guess passive and ult are fine, but I'm not a super fan of this character. And her headgear is super ugly.

Caustic

tactical: Once again, animation feels a little weird, can't it just be instant with an hologram helping to place the trap? Is it necessary to make the trap so visible? Maybe just the metallic round base of the trap would be fine visually.

ultimate: people often ask to be able to throw it instantly. Once again, animation is too long and hindering gameplay.

Mirage

Since I didn't play with it I can't really say. But as a player who encounters a lot of them, decoy is effective, passive seems useless, and ult...well...when I see a bunch of Mirages popping in front of me I have absolutely no trouble to search for and find the real one really quick, and start to shoot at him while he can't do anything. At least let him end invisibility by fighting back when he's spotted.

  • One thing that i really believe that could fix caustic is make his traps activation range smaller and the gas range bigger, also always slow, armor denying slow is ridiculous, the biggest problems with caustic are that his skills are totally ignorable if you have armor, which you almost always have.

    As for bloodhound his biggest problem is his tactical, it's ridiculous that a tracker would release such a huge sonar sphere when trying to track ppl, it's far easier to track a bloodhound by seeing a large orange sphere revealing his position than to be a bloodhound and effectively track someone with that.

  • *Allow traps to be placed on any surface (ceiling, wall, mountain)
    *Increase radius for activating traps
    *Place a DoT that last 6 seconds doing 3-4 dmg/second. The DoT refreshes every second you are in the gas. (To me, losing about 25 HP will maybe make people think twice)

    This should force opponents to decide if they want to engage through gas
    *Do NOT allow teammates to see through gas. Keep as is. 

    *Re-work Caustics passive to allow his team to see through the gas if within a 'x' foot radius of Caustic. Basically, Caustic can provide them 'gas masks' within a certain radius (thinking a small radius, nothing too large)

  • I like your idea of passive @odieman1231 but image how op That could Be. I know he is very weak i agree he needs a buff but i don't think he needs a rework he is kinda good with his ult but trap the ranges on them is horribly. Dmg don't need To buff and it would Be nice if team Mate are not affect by own team mate  gas. *i agree with gas mask to give team Mates but not his threat vision only caustic can see damaged enemies In gas.* 🙂
