@G3t_shot One option is to not equip emotes at all, although you'll throw holosprays or say a voice lines instead, another option would be to change the keybind, but I don't remember seeing one for that and you didn't seem to find it either. I only have one key set to ping normally, double tapping it uses the enemy maker, while holding it opens up my wheel, not sure if that would work for you though.
My issue is when I kill someone, it shows a button for me to press and I would (for some reason) think it says "thank you", so I would hit it and end up using an emote. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, its the world's worst timing ever.
Also, if I'm understanding correctly, you're playing with a mouse and a controller? The controls would get a bit weird as they would be constantly switching between inputs.
