Need Ranked Duos, Trios not fun to solo queue or with 1 random

This game is my favorite game maybe ever and I’ve been gaming for 2 decades, but the last few months just haven’t really been interested in playing. The issue isn’t the gameplay, not the maps, not the balance or the guns. It’s simply that it’s impossible to play ranked trios by yourself and consistently have fun. So I wait until I can play with 1 of my friends to play ranked trios but then 1 random costs us. So then I’ll really only play ranked when both my friends are free and that’s so few and far between that I don’t get to play enough to improve so now I don’t bother playing at all. Neither do they as well.

I wish the devs would try Duos ranked for 1 month. Just see how it is. It could bring massive playbase including myself back into the game. Would genuinely bring my love back to apex being able to play with my friend everyday. If its that disastrous for the ecosystem of Apex than take it out. I hate how stubborn the devs are to stay true with Trios even if it means the ranked player base doubles with the addition of duos. They’re afraid nobody will want to play Trios again and that’s the core of the game. I really don’t see it being like that. Add Duos ranked and bring thousands of people back to the we love and want to play.
