I love Apex Legends; sadly, my wallet despises it. All six Heirloom sets worth $3000????? A single Legendary skin costs $20??? And the worst part: a single collection event apex pack costs 700 Ape...

They don't understand good business tactics, you make the prices lower like you suggested, makes people buy them more cause it's super cheap, thus making more money than just saying eff you buy all this crap for 20 bucks a piece and then oh you want the cool shiny hairloom?! Then give up 250 bucks! Like these guys are insane

It's like they purposefully make them good and charge them for dumb prices.

Honestly, I thought the Event was going to be similar to how OverWatch does them. The event is limited time, usually comes with a limited time game mode, And there's New cosmetics, all of which can be earned in game. There is of course Loot Boxes you can buy to help get them faster. Which, I have bought in the past.
This i didn't have a huge problem with. And even when OverWatch sells skins, usually the epics are $5 and the legendaries are $10. Again, fine.
But for Apex to offer ZERO free boxes to get these items and either expect to spend a fortune on Packs or coins, is ridiculous. Like I said, someone pointed it out that it's over $200 to get everything in both Event tabs. That is insane.
Honestly, to offer no Event packs for playing, and either expect you to spend a small fortune on said packs, or coins, in general, is crazy. Again, over $200 for one event, if you want everything. And, even if you only want an Epic or Legendary, those are $10 and $18, respectively. What a rip off.
Now, I will say this again, just so people understand:
I have no issue with a F2P title wanting people to spend money, and have happily spent money on past titles, myself, over the years.
But, these prices should be reasonable.
$10 to $18 for a single item is NOT reasonable. OVER $200 to get everything in ONE event is NOT reasonable. What those prices ARE is highway robbery. Plain and simple
Yeah i like the comparision to Overwatch. There you get lootboxes EVERY TIME you level up, there is no limit in levels, and you get WAY MORE of the Coins to buy skins (that also look way cooler in a lot of Cases but thats not the point). In Apex there is so much grinding to get ONE LEGENDARY SKIN. I would really appreaciate to just have a guaranteed chance to a Heirloom if you are max level, so pls give us 500 Lootboxes for 500 levels. Why do i have to pay A LOT of Money once i finished levelling, just to get some stuff. So with this, whats my Motivation to play once im lvl 500. Just for the stats? I like to Collect things and i know you want to keep those heirlooms rare but then just increase lvl maximum so grinding gets rewarded.
So please change that system.
- @CompleatBeet You make a very good point but other games have worse micro transactions than Apex. If you see the Micro Transactions in Call of Duty MW, they have a horrible set up for it.
