Yeah, I think the nessies should require line of sight from their user in order to track targets, or have a similar sightline as Crypto's Drone. By that first one I mean their user needs to see the target, and if user not see target then nessie not track target. That sort of thing.
This game has had PvE forever. Ever since I joined. I love the PvE more than the PvP because its more fair, albeit quite easy most of the time.
As in I could be swarmed by 8 prowlers and I still come out on top. In reality I'd probably be lunch.
They used to have armories where you fight specters, but they've since destroyed those.
The nessies are akin to spiders atm, but with more health? Seems like nessies are a bit tougher (more durable/health) than spiders imo.
And an insanely large tracking area that ignores line of sight. They should be able to lose their targets, checking last knowns and then returning to user, not hunting them without line of sight.
Nessies are fun, just a bit broken OP with the tracking capabilities.

Prowlers and spiders you have to instigate by being on their territory and they don't work for any teams. Good Point but you can't compare them to the spiders because they are team utility

They move like spiders.
They shoot like spiders.
They have a little more health than spiders.
Their initial targeting is akin to spiders lock on range.
Except the nessies don't know when to stop, or when to LOSE the target.
Spiders will retreat about 150m away from their home. Exiting line of sight for a while outside their home can cause them to lose you.
Nessies have gone over 250m away from me, and far outside my line of sight. The perimeter needs reduced and should use line of sight to reduce perimeter further so the nessies aren't going into buildings or around cliffs without their user.
Hey, do yall remember shadow royale's shadow prowlers? How was the AI for those? Did they stray as far away as the nessies?
If not, perhaps they should reduce nessie to shadow prowler perimeter.- OldTreeCreeper8 months agoHero+
Having been eliminated by them a number of times, at inopportune moments, I will not be sad to see them go, when they do go, which I hope will be sooner rather than later.
