New game-mode (again not optional)

Dear community,


as so often, I ask myself why a new mode (again) is practically being forced upon us.

I mean: The new "Trios - Revival" mode is the only one selectable atm...regular modes such as "Trios", "Duos" or "Quads" are currently taken out of the game.

That means, If you are not a ranked player, you have to play this new mode (whether you like it or not).

Why is it obviously so hard for EA/Respawn to make new modes optional?

Something that really pisses me off!

What do you think about this?

    ​Being forced to do something you don't want too is the Respawn way.

    It's EA, it's in the game (no matter if you like it or not)...

    Totally agree. No one is supposed to like the only map offered. I personally dont like the map and try to find another way to play a different map. However, new map is even forced in ranked mode. It does not even make any sense. I strongly want to get the idea behind this and how someone decides this is good idea.

    @Asmodeus566 I think they should do what Fortnite does, and add bots into the normal modes.

    However, unlike Fortnite, these bots should be smarter and be able to actually hit players. They should also only be used when there's not enough players in the que to start a match. The only mode they shouldn't be found in, would be ranked.

    That´s not what I´m asking for. Modes o.c. can stay for a limited amount of time but please make them optional so that we don´t have (!) to play them (if we don´t like).

    I´ve got the feeling that bots are already in the game. It started months ago when players in my own squad (also in the enemy squads) started to act strange: Crouching all the time, running backwards, ignoring pinged stuff etc.
    But that´s another topic I dont´t want to discuss here.
