Ok well am done, you seriously happy with handing off napkins to the casual players because wingman too OP, Bunnyhop too OP... while pathfinder is still broken and peacekeeper shreds armors regarding...
I agree but then we might get banned from forums because it may hurt casuals... actually dont even care am done with Apex: Casuals... Quake my love here I come
Ok to be fair warslag, I know you try to cheer us up and help and I appreciate that, I dont want you to feel bad or argue with us but this is extremely frustrating. We care about the game as much as you about the community as much as you and I apologize to you for overreacting. But I can no longer support the game whatsoever and I just wanted my concern to be heard. I think the more the game will go this way, top players will quit it immediately as soon as something else comes out and the playerbase will fade away.
Well, to be fair to Respawn - they didn't ban anyone for using the exploit, as far as I know. Plus, those players who did consider it an exploit, and who were offended by its use, had to be pretty patient in waiting for it to be patched out. So that's the other side of the story.
Players used 'bunny hop' healing because it gave them an advantage. But, presumably because it was not an intended part of game play, it was therefore considered an 'unfair advantage'. If the whole player base had picked up on it and used it then perhaps it would have been different. But it looks like that was not the assessment that Respawn made, and they have deemed it an exploit because it was unintended game play, and so have patched it out of the game.
The only advantages players should have is in their ability to play - and not in their ability to exploit unintended game play to gain an unfair advantage.
But, sure I acknowledge that in some games unintended game play can be something that an entire player base may do. Perhaps because in the case of 'bunny hop' healing it wasn't widely used that that was why it was patched out.
warslag must be the real gibraltar player camping till his opponents die searching for him
Or I can rephrase it, bunnyhopping was so easy to do everyone could have done it without any specific keybinds or macros just by looking at many tutorials on youtube and since everyone can do it, it is a leveled playing field. The fact that people dont want to learn it because they are too lazy to spend 10-15 minutes to practice it, is their own fault. Because thats how long it took me and I am not an expert on bunnyhop in any different game. Quake has even easier bunnyhop as you just spam space as you move
